Enjoy an evening at the Red Smith Sports Award Banquet that you will surely remember! Plus, your contribution helps local youth sports because all proceeds from the banquet are distributed to over two dozen youth sports organizations throughout Northeastern Wisconsin.
Cost of a Sponsor table is $2,000, for which you will receive:
- You and your guests will have an oval table in a prime viewing position in the room, complete with signage representing you or your company. You can decide to receive your choice of either 8 or 10 tickets to the banquet. When choosing 8 tickets, you are leaving space at your table for the Banquet Committee to seat some of our VIPs with your guests. Or, you can enjoy the evening with a full table of 10 people you invite.
- A very special feature of your sponsor package is an invitation for you and your guests to the Press Party, sponsored by RBC Wealth Management, where you will enjoy a pre-banquet gathering. This VIP event includes an open bar and an appetizer buffet. Included on the press party guest list is the Red Smith Award winner, the Scheels Sports “Nice Guy” Award winner, the Featured Speaker and many other special guests of the banquet. The Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, Wisconsin Badgers, UW-Green Bay, Wisconsin Timber Rattler’s, Green Bay Gambler’s, along with local and state athletes, business leaders and celebrities on hand for the banquet also attend at the Press Party. WHBY/WSCO broadcast live from the event.
- Then, you will enjoy one of the finest sports banquets in the Midwest, where guests of the banquet have included 56 hall of fame athletes and sports announcers, representing six major sports (24 baseball, 16 football, 9 basketball, 1 wrestling, 3 motorsports, and 3 hockey) along with a 2 time U.S. Open Golf Champion and Indy 500 Champions. Other award recipients and speakers have been Heisman Trophy winners, baseball commissioners, professional sports team owners, major network T.V. and radio announcers, renowned sports writers, and various other sports personalities.
- After the banquet, you are welcomed to join us for an After Glow Party. Unwind with a drink or coffee, some light snacks and talk about the evenings happenings.
